Focal Point Massage Therapy- Policy

When Booking Appointments

Massage Sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday by appointment only. 
 
When you booked your appointment, you should have received two emails. The first email was confirming the appointment date and time. This is the second email. By completing this intake form, it allows me to review and prepare to discuss any issues that you may have at the time of your appointment. It also confirms that you have been provided the policy to review. 
 
You will receive a reminder email 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This notification provides an opportunity to reschedule or cancel within 24 hours and avoid a late cancelation or no-show fee. (see policy below). You will also receive a reminder by text message an hour prior to your appointment time.  Massage therapy sessions may be booked out up several days, to up to a week or more to be able to see a therapist.  Keep in mind that there are many times when a client contacts the office requesting to get in to see a therapist on the same day or as soon as possible due to pain. My goal is to do my best to accommodate every client that I can. Cancelations made within a sufficient timeframe allows me to accommodate clients on a waitlist and help as many people as possible. 

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to have time to discuss any issues that you may have with your therapist. Due to other appointments, if a client is late, I may not have time to offer the original amount of scheduled time, and the client will remain responsible for payment of the original scheduled amount. We value your business and ask that you respect the office scheduling and policy and do your best to be on-time. 

Payment

I accept cash and local checks. I also accept credit or debit cards; however, there is a three-dollar fee for card transactions. 

Appointment Cancellations & No-show Policy


For the reasons mentioned above, it is essential for those that are unable to make their appointment let me know right away so that when I have a cancelation notice, I can usually accommodate another clients request.

When you miss an appointment with me, I not only lose your business but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled during that same time.

Therefore, please understand and respect the policy:
Any cancelation with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancelation fee of HALF the scheduled session amount. If a client forgets their appointment or chooses not to come to their scheduled appointment without notice, they will be considered a "no-show". The client will be subject to a "no-show", fee that is equal to the ENTIRE session amount.

Fees will be invoiced to the client, and any future service will be denied until payment is made. 

Confidentiality

Client information is kept strictly confidential at all times and will not be shared with outside parties.

Inter-office Courtesy

Please silence your cellular phone before entering the office and during the course of the massage session.  

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available for sale online and in-office and are good for one year from purchase. They are not redeemable for cash.

Sexual Conduct

Massage therapy and bodywork are strictly therapeutic. If a client behaves in a sexual manner at any time, the session will be terminated immediately, full payment expected, and the client denied any future appointments.
